During the ceremony, the Dubai Police General Command - Education Protection Schools was honored for individuals and institutions supporting education.
Dr. Saeed Al Kaabi said that this year's celebration comes in exceptional circumstances that the world is going through due to the Corona pandemic. indicating their keenness to hold the award ceremony virtually, bypassing the challenges and restrictions imposed by the crisis and continuing to broadcast the message and objectives of the award.
For his part, His Excellency Major General Dr. Muhammad Ahmed bin Fahd, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academic and Training Affairs, General Supervisor of Hemaya Schools for Education in Dubai Police, expressed his happiness for "Schools - Hemaya" wins Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence. appreciating the role of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police and his support for schools and facilitating all material and human capabilities to achieve the highest levels of excellence and leadership.
For his part, Mohammed Al Mulla, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Education Council, said that the virtual honoring ceremony is not only for the award winners, but also to celebrate and honor for all distinguished students in the educational field, whose distinction is a source of pride and appreciation. He congratulated the winners on behalf of the Award's Board of Trustees, wishing them more glory and generosity.
The award for individuals and institutions supporting education went to the General Command of Dubai Police - Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academic Affairs and Training, Hemaya Office for Education - Hemaya Schools. while the Sharjah Private Education Authority was chosen as the best educational institution in terms of the number of participations that reached 88, and 16 were won. The Ministry of Education - School Operations Sector 1, The number of its participation reached 51, 11 participants were won.
The list of honorees included 42 male and female students, including three from the special categories and three winners in the applied educational research category. As for the distinguished project category, it was won by two projects from Sharjah and Dubai, two schools, three families and two nurseries, one from Sharjah and the second from Abu Dhabi.
The award honored the learning resources' specialest and a teacher for the special education category, and 6 teachers awarded the award for the distinguished teacher category, namely Naama Al Habsi from Al Dhait Primary School and Noha Hussein Hassanein - Al Wathba and Sama Zaki - Al Manar Model School and Ayman Ibrahim Al Naqib - Shakhbout Bin Sultan School And Laila Ahmed Al Hammadi - Asia Bint Muzahim Model School and Khalid Abdul Azim - Al Qarain School for Basic Education. And for the category of the best manager, the honoring went to Amina Al-Alili and Kaltham Al-Ghuwais Al-Suwaidi. And five parent councils also awarded.
The Sharjah Educational Excellence Award - which enjoys the patronage and support of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, is granted to 12 categories, namely, the category of individuals and institutions supporting education, the distinguished student, the distinguished special education teacher, the distinguished teacher, the distinguished family, the distinguished nursery, the distinguished parents' council and the Outstanding School, Distinguished cluster manager, Distinguished Project, Distinguished Applied Educational Research, and Distinguished Learning Resource Center specialest.
The award aims, through its mission, to deepen the concepts of excellence and creativity, implement specific programs, appreciate the distinguished, deepen the concepts of excellence, encourage all individuals and educational institutions to develop their performance, enhance positive trends towards knowledge and scientific research, spread the spirit of innovation among students, researchers and educational institutions, and raise the spirit of competition among individuals. And educational institutions in the field of scientific excellence and directing individual and institutional energies towards scientific excellence in areas that serve the achievement of the state's developmental orientations.
